Baldini Group celebrates purchase of Grove GMK4100L-1

  • The crane is scheduled for delivery in November and will join Baldini Group’s existing Grove fleet.
  • The rental company also announced it has placed an order for additional GMK5150L and GMK6300L models.
  • Baldini Group cites Grove as a significant contributor to the growth of its business.

Baldini Group celebrated the purchase and imminent delivery of a Grove GMK4100L-1 crane at the GIS 2017 tradeshow in Piacenza, Italy. The well-established rental company, based in Northeast Italy, purchased the 100 t all-terrain crane at the event, and it is scheduled for delivery in November.

The company’s owner, Baldini Arrigo, celebrated at the tradeshow with his daughter, members of the company’s management and the Manitowoc team. In addition, Baldini Group also confirmed that it has ordered GMK5150L and GMK6300L models to join its growing Grove fleet.

“We are very glad to celebrate this milestone with Baldini Group,” said Davide Camperi, area sales manager for mobile cranes at Manitowoc Crane Group Italy. “These cutting-edge all-terrain cranes will increase Baldini Group’s competitiveness in the region, and they will find this newest generation of GMKs can increase the company’s versatility and yield a higher return on investment.”

Baldini Group has 50 years of experience in crane sales and rental, and is very well-known and respected in Italy. The company’s existing Grove fleet includes a GMK4100L, GMK5130-1, GMK5130-2, GMK5170-1 and two GMK5220s. Baldini Group has been loyal to Grove for many years and cites the brand as a significant contributor to the growth of the company.
