KIL commemorates 41 years of partnership with Potain at CONEXPO 2017

3/16/2017

Manitowoc Cranes held a special ceremony for Korea International Ltd (KIL) at CONEXPO 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The companies celebrated their long, successful partnership with a champagne toast, calling special attention to KIL’s 41-year track record of being the exclusive dealer of Potain cranes in South Korea.

Jongtae Kim, CEO of KIL, cited the reliability, quality and resale value of Potain cranes as primary reasons for the company’s success with the global crane brand. Kim also mentioned the strength of Potain’s after-service training, praising it as the most active in the tower crane market.

Korea International Ltd has been importing and selling tower cranes in South Korea since 1973, becoming the region’s sole Potain distributor in 1975. Since its official designation as a Potain dealer, the company has provided customers with more than 500 cranes and currently holds the top market share of imported units in South Korea.
