Montarent celebrates the purchase of four Potain Igo 21 self-erecting tower cranes at CONEXPO 2017

3/10/2017

Netherlands-based Montarent significantly expanded its fleet of self-erecting tower cranes at CONEXPO 2017, purchasing four new Potain Igo 21 units at the trade show. The company celebrated the occasion with Manitowoc Cranes during a champagne toast with leadership from both companies participating. The commemoration marked the expansion of Montarent’s lifting capabilities, as well as its extensive utilization of Potain cranes.

The Potain Igo 21 features a 1.8 t (2 USt) capacity, compact footprint and wireless remote control, making it ideal for a wide variety of applications that demand flexibility and versatility from a lifting solution. Montarent’s Igo 21s have been specially modified to operate on a four-wheel steering chassis—manufactured by Montarent—to provide greater mobility on all job sites. The modifications are the result of a collaboration between Montarent and Jean Pierre Zaffiro, global product director for Potain self-erecting cranes at Manitowoc.
