Corpinsa grows Potain fleet with fourth MCR 160 in Panama

9/20/2016

Panama City’s Corpinsa, one of Manitowoc’s largest distributors in Central America, has just added its fourth Potain MCR 160 to its fleet. The tower crane is already at work, helping build residential towers along the waterfront in Panama City. According to CEO Raymond Mizrachi, the company wanted to invest in tower cranes that can be easily placed inside buildings during construction — a capability for which the 10 t (11 USt) MCR 160 is becoming known, thanks in part to Corpinsa bringing them visibility in the country. The MCR 160 can be assembled on both 1.6 m (5.2 ft) and 2 m (6.5 ft)-wide mast sections and boasts 10 t (11 USt) of maximum capacity. It can be rigged with up to 50 m (164 ft) of main jib, offering a 2.4 t (2.6 USt) jib-end load capacity.
