Multi-Crane International adds four new Potain tower cranes to its fleet at CONEXPO 2017
08.03.2017
Multi-Crane International is leaving CONEXPO 2017 with four new Potain tower cranes in its fleet. The Netherlands-based company purchased two Potain MDT 319s and two MDT 389s at the trade show, which is currently being held in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A. Leadership from Multi-Crane International visited the Manitowoc Cranes booth to finalize the deal and then celebrated the purchase with a champagne toast.
The MDT 319 and the MDT 389 are both from Potain’s new line of CCS Tower Cranes that feature the company’s Crane Control System (CCS). This user-friendly operating system offers owners the highest levels of comfort, flexibility and ergonomic control, translating to better return on investment. The MDT CCS Topless concept enables complex multi-crane installations, and the assembly, erection, transport and maintenance phases are shorter than previous generations of tower cranes.
The Manitowoc Company, Inc. (“Manitowoc”) was founded in 1902 and has over a 117-year tradition of providing high-quality products and support services that are tailored to customers’ needs. Its 2019 net sales were approximately $1.83 billion. Manitowoc is one of the world's leading providers of engineered lifting solutions. Through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Manitowoc designs, manufactures, markets and supports comprehensive product lines of mobile telescopic cranes, tower cranes, lattice-boom crawler cranes, boom trucks and industrial cranes under the Grove, Potain, Manitowoc, National Crane, Shuttlelift and Manitowoc Crane Care brand names.
